Successful Beginnings and Starting The Land Man Office

She began working for Coldwell Banker Cutten Realty with her father, Charlie Winship, in 2011. After joining the Coldwell Banker team, Kyla was invited into the “Presidents Circle” as well as awarded The Western Region’s Rookie of the Year in 2014 for total units sold. With such rapid success, Kyla obtained her broker’s license to fulfill her dream of opening “The Land Man Office”. Her dream became a reality in June of 2015, and The Land Man Office has been up and running in Northern California ever since.

Early Successes

Before becoming a Realtor, Kyla worked for Security National for four years as an Asset Manager, Campaign Coordinator, and Marina Center Ambassador. Specializing in the liquidation of Real Estate Owned (R.E.O.) properties, she gained an in-depth familiarity with commercial and residential properties as well as modification and foreclosure processes. During her campaign work, she developed and executed a successful marketing strategy for a ballot measure, which was passed with City of Eureka voter approval. Her diverse job description while employed by Security National allowed her to continuously connect with the local community through a variety of tasks, including planning and hosting large community events and speaking at various public forums. 

Education

In 2012, Kyla graduated from Humboldt State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration emphasizing in Marketing. She was a member of the Business & Economics Club and completed in-depth Marketing Research & Analysis Projects for local business and programs.
